    This seminar will cover all the features of Adobe Lightroom in a day, sending you home with the power to edit, organize, and process your images quickly and elegantly. Besides covering Lightroom 2.0 basics, we will also cover each of the 5 Lightroom functions (Library, Develop, Slideshow, Print, Web.) Special attention will be given to maximizing workflow efficiencies and processing photos into useable images that need little, if any additional processing in Photoshop. This seminar will be limited to 20 participants, allowing ample time for questions and in-depth explanations. Students are encouraged to bring a laptop with Lightroom installed.

  • Basic Photoshop for the Outdoor Photographer

    Location: Hilton Garden Inn in Portsmouth, NH

    To make an image truly shine, you need to do more than just snap the shutter at the right time. In this seminar, Jerry will teach you the basics that you need to know in order to make the most out of your images using Photoshop. Topics covered will include monitor calibration, color correction, tone control, using layers and layer masks, preparing images for output, converting color to black and white, automating Photoshop work, and using Adobe Camera Raw. Jerry will be giving examples using Photoshop CS4, though most techniques will be applicable to earlier versions of Photoshop as well. This seminar will be limited to 20 participants, allowing ample time for questions and in-depth explanations. Students are encouraged to bring a laptop with Photoshop installed.

  • Outdoor Photography Workflow Workout

    Date: Saturday and Sunday, May 1 and 2, 2010
    Location: Hilton Garden Inn in Portsmouth, NH

    In this intensive two-day workshop, Jerry makes learning a proper photography workflow fun and easy using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. We will shoot photos with the group in nearby photo hot spots, then return to the Hilton in Portsmouth to download our images and get them properly organized and optimized. Jerry will also explain the ins and outs of shooting High Dynamic Range (HDR) images, as well as extended depth of field images using image stacking techniques. The weekend will be a great workout of both your photo and photo editing skills, giving you new tools to take your photography to the next level.

    It is suggested that students already possess a basic understanding of both Lightroom and Photoshop. This workshop will be limited to 15 participants, allowing ample time for questions and in-depth explanations. Students are encouraged to bring a laptop with Photoshop and Lightroom installed.
