Snow and Shadows, Maine

	We found this scene of tree patterns in the snow while cross-country skiing on a mixed-use trail in Maine’s Northern Forest. We shared the trail with the occasional snowmobile and dog sled team, but mostly we were alone in the forest with scenes like this one as well as views of the nearby Bigelow Range.
