Out There
News From EcoPhotography.com
|
| |
Greetings! The leaves have fallen here in New England which signifies it is
time to wrap-up old projects and start planning new ones. It also
means we'll be in the office more than usual the next few weeks so
if you need us to research our photo files, now is a good time to
send us those want lists.
Cheers!

Fine Art Prints for the Holidays. |
|
| |
|
With the holidays coming up, we decided to reduce the price on our fine
art prints by up to 30%. Of course, we believe that our prints make
excellent gifts for clients and co-workers, and to help you choose we
have set up a
new gallery of images that make great prints.
You can also order signed copies of any of our six books by visiting
our
on-line book gallery.

Connecticut River Project Wrap-up. |
|
| |
|
Last Friday we completed work on our 1 1/2 year-long Connecticut River
photo project. We spent more than 100 days in the watershed, and it
feels great to be done. This project was undertaken for the Trust for
Public Land's Connecticut River project office, and it has been a very
cool experience, allowing us to create a unique body of work that
celebrates New England's largest watershed and highlights its scenic,
cultural, wilderness, and agricultural qualities which represent the
best that New England has to offer. TPL will use the photos from this
project to promote its conservation efforts in the watershed. We are
also planning to turn this project into a book and possible gallery show
as well.

Up Next: Ten Great New England Adventures |
|
| |
|
Next year will be the first year since 1998 that we have not had a book
project to shoot for, and we're looking forward to having a little extra
freedom in planning our photo trips. One idea we're thinking of tackling
is photographing our own list of the "Top Ten New England Adventures."
This project should produce some great adventure imagery, but we're also
going after this list just because we want to experience all the great
New England wilderness trips we haven't been able to get to over the
last ten years due to book projects, the birth of our two children, and
various other excuses.
Let us know if you want to be included in this project. In the
meantime, you can keep up on our latest trips by visiting our blog,
The EcoPhotographer.
